Text Box: Welcome Parishioners of the church of St. Mary Text Box: This Ministry Handbook is an invitation to use our God-given gifts in ministries to help build a strong faith community by serving others. Text Box: This Resource Guide is published to help parishioners choose ministries that match their gifts and talents. You will find many ministry opportunities available within our parish. It is our hope the members of our parish will be inspired by the many programs described in the following pages and will step forward as volunteer ministers in the parish efforts to spread God’s message of love, peace and unity in our community. Perhaps while reading these pages, you will hear the Holy Spirit urge you to respond. May your response be: “Yes, Holy Spirit, I know that you have given me the time and talents needed to help in this ministry. I want to serve!” Even though you may feel you cannot commit on a regular basis, perhaps you will be moved to put your name on a list of people to call when there is a particular need. There is a special place on the Stewardship Participation Form to indicate your willingness to serve. It can be found on the tear-out page 18 at the bottom of the second column titled, Occasional Help/Office Work. Please put a check in the appropriate box and return the form to the parish office. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with a joyful heart and with all good will.
