The pastoral letter reminds us to "make a conscious, firm decision, carried out in action, to be followers of Jesus Christ." Please join me in this journey toward a fuller understanding of what stewardship means in our daily lives. We are called to imitate the life of Jesus, living as Christian Stewards in order to fulfill the mission of the church. By applying the practical guidelines provided in this stewardship manual, it is my hope that every parish in our diocese will experience the untold benefits that result when stewardship is understood, accepted and practiced. Sharing our time, talent and treasure is a way of life. "As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace."
