for the Monday evening mass at 5:30 pm.
Two of the above classes –  Nov. 9th and March 8th will be held in the Lighthouse (North Building in the St. Mary’s parking lot).
Apologetics will start on Monday October 12th, at 4 pm. in the Great Hall at St. Mary’s church, ending at 5:20 for those who wish to attend Monday evening Mass at 5:30 pm.  We will have  class 2 Mondays a month and continue through April. Men and women, young and older are welcome to join us.   Dr. George Jay from Morris will be teaching our class with many years of experience.  He has been with us approximately 5 years.  His wife Joan will also be joining us.
The hope is to provide an opportunity for individuals who are interested in learning how to defend their faith. Dr. Jay will give them facts and a desire to learn more about their faith as they learn how to defend it.  We have covered many different interesting topics, such as Purgatory, Baptism, Immaculate Conception, Original Sin, Apostolic Succession, the Last Supper Bible Study dealing with common Objections, Being “Born Again” (“Born Anew”) Being Re-Birthed of “Water and the Spirit”, Jesus As Fulfillment of the Passover, the Sacrament of Confession, and “Eternal Security” or ” Once Saved, Always Saved” Issue,  to name a few.  If there are topics that you would be interested in we want to know about them.
If you miss one class, you can continue with us as there will be a different topic each Monday. We look forward to the start of another great year.
You can give me a call to register you or just show up.  There will be no charge for these classes.
