HARVEST PACK 2025, April 25

The Church of St Mary is excited to bring you a chance to be a part of a tremendous outpouring of help for families throughout the Alexandria Area, and other communities in Minnesota through Harvest Pack 2025.
  • It will be held on Friday, April 25th, from 8:30am to 8:00pm.  Students from St Mary School will be doing the first few hours of shifts, packing oatmeal “meals” from 8:30am to Noon.
  • There is some room for one adult packaging table from 10:00am to Noon, otherwise the rest of the afternoon and early evening are open to the whole community to help.
  • There are also opportunities to help unload product and set up the packaging area on Thursday, April 24th, as well as help cleaning up afterward on April 25th from 8:00pm to 9:30pm.
  • The shifts are 2-hour shifts.  To begin your two-hours, you will watch a training video in the Great Hall at The Church of St Mary.  The last five minutes of your shift will be spent cleaning up.  Enter into the gymnasium, after watching your training video, through the door marked B8 (just west of the Parish Office).
  • Shifts run from Noon to 2:00pm, 2:00-4:00pm, 4:00-6:00pm, and 6:00-8:00pm.

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER –> HERE<–

Please fill out the volunteer agreement when you register!  Please consider donating as well.  Your funds will help off-set the cost of product that The Church of St. Mary has purchased for the event.

  • During the afternoon and evening, there will be eight tables, needing up to 10 people per table.  There will also be need of a couple of runners who will make sure tables do not run out of product and will wheel away the completed boxes of meals.
  • This is a COMMUNITY EVENT, because hunger doesn’t know religion.  Bring your friends, family, co-workers, organization, church group or yourself and help.
  • WE ARE HOPING TO PACKAGE A TOTAL OF 75,000 MEALS.
