Theology on Draft, Feb. 26

Get ready for a fun night with an old friend of The Church of St. Mary, Craig Gould.  Thursday, February 26, from 6:30-8:30 pm, Craig will be the speaker during a special “Theology on Draft” night at Willy T’s (Inside the Holiday Inn).  The Diocese of St. Cloud, in partnership with One in Christ ACC Young Adults, All Called to Christ ACC Young Adults, and St. Cloud Newman Young Adults, is sponsoring the talk called “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”  It’s an evening designed for young adults, age 18-39, and includes an opportunity to learn, share faith, fellowship, food, and refreshments.

Craig has been all over the country, from his undergrad at the Society of Jesus at Boston College, to his work in ministry for Young Life in Alaska, and then he spent a few years in Alexandria, MN, where he was the coordinator of youth ministry for The Church of St. Mary.  He earned an MA in Systemic Theology at St. Johns at Collegeville, while in Minnesota.  After completion of the degree, he served as the Director of the Peacebuilders Initiative and Catholic on Call at Catholic Theological Union in Hyde Park, Chicago. From 2015 until 2022, he was the Director of Family, Youth, and Young Adult Ministry for the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the oldest diocese in the United States.  Now he is a member of the McGrath Institute of Church Life staff as the Program Director of Notre Dame Vision.
