Wild Prairie Walk, July 16

On Wednesday, July 16, at 6:00 pm, parishioners from the Come to the Water ACC are invited to participate in the Wild Prairie Walk to be held at Cedar Rose Wild Prairie and adjacent Burr Vineyards.  This event celebrates the Integrity of Creation, a mission of the JPIC Committee (Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation), and involves a silent one-hour walk in the restored natural wild prairie in full bloom with educational 5-minute presentations by experienced naturalists.  A harvest dinner will follow the walk.   (Register HERE)

The purpose of the event is for God’s people to appreciate His presence in the natural world and how we can participate in the preservation of the environment.

All parishioners in the ACC, including families, are invited to attend this event which will require advance registration at the St. Mary’s Parish Office.  Because of the limited number of spots available for this walk, we are asking that any kids accompanying you to be at least in middle school or above.  Total attendance is limited to 70 people.  There will be no cost to attend this event.

REGISTER HERE or call Joe in the Parish Office at 320-460-5336.
