The Church of St. Mary coordinates all weddings for the Come to the Water Catholic Community, which includes:
The Church of St. Mary– Alexandria, MN
The Church of Immaculate Conception – Osakis, MN
The Church of St. Nicholas – Belle River, MN
Weddings should be scheduled at least six (6) months in advance to allow for proper spiritual preparation for this great sacrament. To discuss your wedding date and begin marriage preparation, please fill out the form below.
The Wedding Coordinator will be in touch with you within two (2) weeks.
WEDDING PERSONNEL
Wedding Preparation Coordinator
Initial/main point of contact for wedding planning, monitors marriage preparation and here to help with anything a couple may need.
Director of Liturgy & Music
Main contact for any liturgy planning questions or concerns. Plan to meet twice for liturgy planning, to finalize your program, and to answer questions.
Our Priests
Will meet with for a dinner and to complete a pre-nuptial investigation & wedding agreement.
Administrative Assistant
Handles documents, including notarization, and answers questions for the couple.
WHAT TO EXPECT

- The Wedding Coordinator will contact you to be introduced and gather information
- The priest will contact you to set up a meeting date
- Dinner with the priest (you may set up a second meeting to complete your initial paperwork or you may complete the paperwork on the same night)
- Paperwork is handed over to the Wedding Coordinator
- Wedding Coordinator will contact you to start marriage preparation
