Parental Involvement
Parent involvement is encouraged and welcomed in our classrooms, library and kitchen. For those who are unable to be help during the school day, there are a variety of after school projects and events that take place throughout the year. We rely on and value the stewardship model of parents sharing their time and talent with our school.
WATCH D.O.G.S.® is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father figures in their student’s life. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears.
Fathers and father-figures can spend meaningful time with their students in the school setting and gain a greater awareness of the positive impact they can have on their student’s life, just by being a ‘dad’.
When WatchDOGS invest a day at school, they can learn how better to partner with the school to meet educational goals of students.
