After a couple of weeks in Italy, Come to the Waters ACC’s Father Matthew Kuhn begins his sabbatical in Rome. He checked in with parishioners after completing a pilgrimage tour for nearly three dozen folks. The visit aimed at helping people experience the fullness of life and the beauty of the Catholic Church. Click on the video below to hear Fr. Matthew’s first video check-in.
Father Matthew Kuhn checks in after two weeks in Rome.
The Jubilee in Rome tour through Verso Ministries included many people from the Come to the Waters ACC, including the parishes of St Nicholas, Immaculate Conception and The Church of St Mary. Father Kuhn’s experience with the holy city, along with local guides, helped provide insight to this significant part of the world in our Christian history. One of the pilgrims on the January 13-21, 2025 journey was Liz Drevlow. She used her amazing photography skills to capture a little of the beauty of the trip. Enjoy her photographs in the Rome / Italy Pilgrimage presentation below.
Jim Gorghuber, from The Church of St Mary in Alexandria, was also on the pilgrimage. He also captured some of the flavor of the 9-day, 8-night adventure with pictures. None of the photos are identified here, but it gives you a more candid sense of the time spent.

We hope to add more detail as it becomes available. In the meantime, enjoy this Jubilee Year and look forward to continued video updates from Father Matt.
