Classroom Teacher/Aide: These helpers welcome the children to class, read and review the Bible stories, and take the children to the various learning stations (Recreation, Crafts, etc.) Prep involves being aware of each day’s activities, becoming familiar with the Bible story presentation, and asking God to use you to teach his little ones. Hours: 8:30 to noon each day (come earlier the first day, please!)
Snack Leader/Helper: These helpers prepare and deliver snacks to the children. Everything will be organized for you in the kitchen. There is also some prep work for the Family Picnic on Thursday. Hours: approx. 9:00-11:30 each day (8:30 the first day—we often get lots of changes!)
Craft Leader/Helper: Craft Leader/Helper: These helpers will lead four twenty- minute craft sessions. Everything will be organized for you in the craft area. Hours: 9:30-noon each day (9am the first day)
Recreation Leader/Helper: These helpers lead four twenty- minute game activities outside each day, stressing safety and promoting good sportsmanship. The games are planned and all of the supplies will be ready for you. These helpers also are in charge of booths during our picnic day. Hours: 9:30-noon each day.
Each day this helper presents four lessons promoting different aspects of our Catholic faith. Sometimes there is an easy craft to help the children with. Each day the children will take away something to remember your lessons. Hours: 9:30-noon each day. Go to FAITH FUN for the schedule.
Substitute: We need a list of people who are willing to be back-ups in case someone is unable to come on a given day.
