There is good news and bad news when it comes to preparing couples for the sacrament of Marriage. The good news is that we have many couples still seeking to bless their marriages in the church and have taken the steps to prepare, thanks to the materials and coaching through The Church of St. Mary. Now the somewhat “bad news.” We are running short on new materials to give out, and due to the cost of re-purchasing a bunch of new books, are asking for the kind return of any you may still have in your possession.
The two books that our marriage preparation courses use are called “Celebrating Marriage in Christ” and “Planning a Great Wedding Ceremony.” Since these books are about the ceremony and the Mass itself, and not about how to live as married couples, they really are of no use once your ceremony is complete.
The bottom line is, if you have any of these books, would you kindly return them to The Church of St. Mary Parish Office, please? In the meantime, we wish you and your spouse a blessed life together!
